So I passed my first test. My score wasn't what I had hoped, but considering that I didn't do the homework properly if at all, and that it was my very first one, the teacher said that I did "GREAT!"
Hooray. Now I need a Good Work sticker on my folder.
Just think, it's this very week that I will actually be tending to the skin needs of real life actual paying clients.
OMFG!1111w00t.
Haha.
Main Entry: sophistication

the process or result of becoming cultured, knowledgeable, or disillusioned; especially : CULTIVATION, URBANITY
the process or result of becoming more complex, developed, or subtle
You are severely lacking sophistication. That was an epiphany that reached me yesterday.
No, not you. You. And maybe you, too.
*edited to add that something tremendously funny happened today between my English Aesthetics instructor and I....
I had played Ms. FixIt last week with this metal Ikea type special bathroom cabinet thingie for the Microdermabrasion room, and she wanted to give me a little treat, right?
Well today, she comes up to me before class ends, and says that she has some pills for me. Um, ok. So she goes away, returns my outline and asks if I'm interested in at least a pill or two.
I said, "Only if it gets rid of this intense headache and helps me see pretty colors when I am doing a facial."
Peels, NOT pills. Hahahhahahaha. Hello dumbass. It's a sign of the times when I'm excited about a skin peel and not random pills.
We all had a nice laugh tonight at school. Gotta love those British accents.
