That pic (taken yesterday on the way to the Stereolab show at the Fonda) really represents a new era, as I've realized that I no longer in any shape or form, have Bettie Page bangs.

I think I like my look now...

Also ushering a new era is my ex (and close friend) B., who's moving over the next month to new digs with his wife.

Just so you can get the proper context, there are different parts of me all over the world. I've bits of my life in Australia (via my disappearing friend in London), Minnesota, New York (I think), and of course, all over Los Angeles. Pretty soon I can cross West Hollywood off of that list as well. B. has resided in his place for over 13 years, so of course I thought it safe to store some stuff there....guess not.

Coming 'round again is my lovely black furniture left with him many years ago, my bicycle, sewing machine, green lamp, and lots of other random items. eeek

Hopefully he has taken good care of my signed copy of The Autobiography of Andy Warhol. It's all just stuff at the end of the day though, right? So I'm not going to cry if it disappeared...

April 2nd is also this weekend, which represents a twisted birthday of sorts of mine, the icing on the cake that I can now celebrate on its 5th anniversary.

In other news, I'm tired. Always tired these days, so that's not really news, I suppose.

School is challenging to the point of me being forlorn in that I've bitten off way more than I can chew.

You don't see frogs with beards. Ha, direct quote, that is. Bwahhaaa.

How the hell are you?

Blame it on the rain. tongue

Without getting to much into the insanity that is the hippiness and the visions and whatnot, it will only be 2-3 cities that are truly devastated by the whole pandemic thing. I haven't been able to determine specifics, but I'm guessing they'll be more centralized. Ironically, the breakdowns won't be the result of actual sickness, it will be due to fear. People afraid to send their kids to school. People afraid to go to work. Truck drivers afraid to drive their rigs and cargo into affected areas. Once fear grips a city, it's a matter of supplies running out.

Yeah, Seattle is nuts. on the flip side, they are planning to build and dedicate a temple to these people at Burning Man this year. Strange - in the two ears I've been I've seen temples and taken my own meanings out of it, I've never had a connection to the specific individual(s) for which it's dedicated. If I have the time and money to do so, I'll go out a week early and help assemble it.

Silly world that we live in... it's both entertaining and annoying all at once.
