So I'm curious about something. Where did you go to school and why?
My answer is not that conventional, but nothing about my life is conventional, so I'm just keeping within that theme.
For all intents and purposes, I've been out on my own since age 15, call it what you will, throwaway kid, whatever. So sue me for never graduating high school properly. I went to community college the moment I turned 18 and was finally (at least, legally) responsible for myself. Attended a local community college to get an AA degree, which was left unfinished, as I always had to work at least 2 jobs to support myself.
School wasn't the highest priority, unfortunately. I had an opportunity to study something that I really enjoyed, and that's shoe design, and I did complete the certificate for that at Otis. My UCLA fairy godmother hooked me up at UCLA Extension and I was able to complete many classes in theatrical training and also computers. I've had a lot of private theatrical training, incidentally, as I'd wanted to get over my early life shyness.
Ok, what's your story, morning glory?

My story...boring. I'm majoring in Law, nothing more. But I really love it!
Even though I'd like to work as a make-up artist, and i wish I could draw better. I've never attended any school or anything. And I guess it would be nice
I went back to Rancho Santiogo College to study Sign Language and Broadcasting (mainly the audio side of it) but work hours got in the way again and had to drop. Finally in 2000, after realizing that computers were my knack) I went back to shool at University of Phoenix in Fountain Valley. When I was at Rancho Santiago and OCC, I had a 1.25 gpa. Tho=rough applying myself and working hard, I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in IT with a 3.9 gpa. (I also was sober, so that helps a lot)
I should have known that computers were my thing when I got kicked out of computer class in high school (1986) for hacking. I wish sometimes insteasd of taking that as a negative and turning my nback on computers for years, I would have turned it into a positive.Imight be rich now. But I have learned a lot of other things in that time, things I wouldnt trade. Both good and bad.
