Wow, life is very interesting. I didn't get the chance to go 4x4 with my buddies because my school schedule didn't permit. Oh well, there's always next time. However, I've been watching the TV in between studying. The Pope has died. Pretty historical stuff going on. As I was watching that I reflected on all the historical stuff I've seen in my life, and most of these things I've seen pretty much through a television. What if TV never existed. So far in my life I've seen these historical things happen:
1. I saw the Challenger space shuttle explode on TV.
2. I've seen two wars play out in the Persian Gulf and one in Afganistan on TV.
3. I saw the second plane hit one of the World Trade Towers while watching the first one burn.
4. I seen a tsunami devastate whole countries in just a few hours.
5. I got to see Mt. St. Helens kind of pop its top again.
6. I got to see our economy take a pretty big hit and almost implode on itself (although we're not out of the woods yet, not even close)
7. I have the chance to see some radical right wingers take over the United States Government and conservative radicalism uprising.
8. I saw the Pope die via TV and will see the election of the next Pope (probably the fellow from Opus Dei).
9. I saw the fall of the Berlin Wall.
10. I saw the fall of the USSR.
11. I am seeing the birth of the Russian Federation.
12. I saw the Orange Revolution via TV.
13. I had the chance to see the Hale Bopp Comet.
14. I saw pictures from Titan and Mars up close via TV.
15. I saw the solidification of Europe.
16. I've seen the Internet rise up.
17. I've seen Microsoft rule the computing world and a man named Bill Gates become the richest man on earth.
18. I've seen my nation sharply divided over a politics.
Life is interesting. But I have a feeling that this is just and introduction to many more historical things to come in my lifetime. I can't wait to see what's next but yet I hesitate. What a wild ride history is.
PS I'm stoked, an Ethical Hacking class is being offered at school! YEaH! I'm so there, also, don't ever eat anything with onions in it and then eat jello pudding.....my stomach doesn't feel so gooood.
