The Kings lost to the Timberwolves. I guess you can't win every game all the time.
And I also found out that Wrist Watches are just the Hand Cuffs of Time. So, I don't wear a Wrist Watch anymore because I want to be free.
A friend of mine yesterday told me about her trip to Cuba some time ago. She says that those people on that Island aren't repressed. They aren't repressed because they have the free soul or spirit that live in us and its still burning furiously. Those weren't her words exactly but thats what she said to me. She said that she was able to talk to a 10 year old boy about philosophy and he understood. You can't talk to a 10 year old boy here in the US about philosophy, he'll think you're some wack job. The only thing most 10 year old boys are concerned with here in the States are baseball cards and shit. Sad, in a way.
Also, today, I was watching this show called Meet the Press for a few moments. A man called Jerry Fallwell and Rev. Al Sharpton were argueing about abortion rights (two men argueing about what to do with a woman's body, ridiculous) and Slavery popped up amongst the arguement then the most disturbing thing popped out of Jerry Fallwell's mouth he said, "What's wrong with Slavery." Just then I saw red. All the words on the Televison were drowned out by a feeling of anger and disgust. You see, Jerry Falwell is the pastor of the Thomas Road Baptist Church with a following of 22,000 and he makes frequent appearances on the 700 club and major News channels like CNN and such....
You see, I think Jerry Falwell is a dangerous man because if he says such things like "What's wrong with Slavery?" then I can only imagine what he is telling those 22,000 people of his congression and the other millions of others who watch such shows like the 700 club, then those people flood other people's heads with his ideas and so on and so forth. And most of those people trust him because he's supposed to be a man of God. Utter, nonsense, there is no such thing. Very scary but its reality. This guy is probably preaching hate or bigotry and no one really putting up a stink about it or intervening to stop this blasphemy he promotes.
On a lighter note, I'm putting up Christmas lights on the house and cutting a tree down with my parents and sister. YES! I love the smell of pine tree in the morning.
I love this painting.
