The house-hunt has finished (already). It looks like a move to a nice four bedroom terrace in a nice leafy street in Surry Hills (and only a 2 minute walk to the Hopetoun) will be happening (hopefully) on the 18/9.

In other news, it seems that I am headed for the United States in a short while - for about a month or so. So...

No problem...we have very similar tastes...Royal Tenenbaums is in my top three movies..along with Rushmore and Virgin Suicides. I like that your favorite artist is Richie too!! Good choice. Have you seen the artwork by that same artist in the Rushmore Criterion Collection?

Did anyone catch the story in the newspaper out here the other day about the judge who has stepped aside after being accused of using a penis pump underneath his robe while presiding over cases? That is classic work.

Update time. It's been a pretty eventful day. It was made official today that Lindsey is heading out here in a little over a month. Sydney had better brace itself.

It's probably about time that I did an update of some kind. It's been a long time between.

Has been a busy week, in-between work & six straight nights of going out. I really need an extra day to take it easy. Someone should get on to pushing for the introduction of a four day work week.

I went to see theredsunband last night -which...

It's been a busy week.

The Youth Group show on the weekend was amazing - as if that is any surprise.

I've been going through books like a madman this past month and over the past five days alone have read 3. They are:

Bob Zmuda's - Andy Kaufman Revealed. Zmuda might be a hand a telling a good story, I can't help that he...

Let's meet up for a beer sometime soon. I like beer and I like the strange process of socialisation. Let us combine them.

Time is running out. It's only four short days until the end of my two weeks of freedom and the start of what will no doubt eventually becoming the latest soul destroying device in my life - a new job.

While I hold out some hope that it won't be like others previous - they all end up the same in the end. Don't they?...

There's little better than the feeling of waking up and knowing that you don't have to go to work for two weeks. Actually, now that I think about it, there's probably a hell of a lot of things better - but I don't think that should take anything away from the sense of freedom that I'm experiencing right now.

Sadly, my grand-plan of giving my...

Don't get too bored with all your time off. Heh. I always take days off, and then I get bored. I don't know how to relax or function unless I'm working or in school...

It's probably about time to update this. The weekend turned out to be a little different than expected. The Friday night Vines/Youth Group/Red Riders show was cancelled on Friday morning, unfortunately. I'm sure I'm not the only one that would have been more than happy to still seen Youth Group & Red Riders play, but it wasn't too be.

I also got a call on...

Dear God, talk about spending!

In my dotage, I'm getting domesticated. Me and the girl's big recent purchase was a table.

I thought of you when I was reading about all the stuff with the Vines. Iain Shedden (of your new employer The Australian, congrats btw) has been writing a lot about them and the fallout from the Annandale gig. They really sound like they're imploding. Pretty sad.

Good luck on the inner-Sydney accommodation front. confused
