Today my boss said to me that if I don't work next friday I wont be working at my work again!
This is because I reminded her that last week I told her that I could nolonger work tuesdays or fridays because I'd be doing volunteer work at the zoo. Last week she was cool with it and it was fine. I also reminded her that when i applied for the job that I did tell them that I'd be either going to uni or seeing if I can get the experience I need to work with animals some other way. Somehow I don't think she was paying attention to this. I wanted to nut her right there purely for her rude tone of voice. Three weeks ago I asked for the 12th september off for my boyfriends dads 60th birthday which my mum and stepdad are coming too and she told me that I would have to get someone to cover for this, I don't think its my job to find staff to work! To top it off she told me I couldn't have the 12th off but then goes and gives one of the lads a week off starting from the 13th. WTF!!! I only asked for one evening off.
Right now i nolonger want to go to work. Job sucks ass anyway. Takes up all my time. Never get to see my boyfriend and I'm 24 being talked down to by a 22 year old. Soooooooooo I'll be handing my notice in tomorrow I think. Then she can struggle with no staff.

Gahh bosses. Mine sucks too. I volunteer at the zoo too!! I work there every Saturday morning and all summer long my stupid boss gave me Saturdays as my only day off even though we had agreed I would have another day off just for myself. So I worked 7 days a week all summer long. I'm so glad school has started!!
