It was nice to have christmas at 30 DegC but it sucked to make 24 hours on travel time from a city in the same West Coast and actually closer than Toronto. Well I had to cross one border by bus .. with a delay, take a cab, then a flight with a delay and made one stop also with a delay to cross another border... then the final cab to get home! I just took a shower and died! Lots of bad luck but at least I'm here. The woman next to me in one of the flights was coming from a getaway trip to Arizona because her boyfriend just died on a car accident on his way to visit her one day before christmas. So from this perspective I guess I've been actually lucky!! :-S
Oh I saw my grandma and she looks well for now. Grandmas are always happy when grandchildren visit. They also want to see you fat, if you are not fat they think you are sick! They're so lovely!
I got two old Mexico maps for my map wall, one of them about Mexico from before the Mexico-USA war but after the Texas war, but it's a copy. The other one is an original from 1897. I also brought some home-made Bacanora!
