OK things didn't go that well.
My Berna is coming to Vancouver but not now. I'm leaving for Hermosillo on Friday without her. We still hope she can make it before New Year but I doubt it. The problem is that she is coming to study a Master's degree in January but she hasn't received her official letter for the study permit. Most probably we'll meet next year. But I talked to her on the phone for an hour and a half and we are taking it easy, after all we did our best and if these things happen is because of something. We'll see.
I also talked to my grandma on the phone and she's really bad with the hydrocephalia thing. I really wish she had more peaceful days. It's so bad when you think of your last memories in this world being pain and suffering. But it happens to so many people I know, but in this case is the woman that took care of me when I was 4 or 5 yrs old while my parents worked... Dear Santa, bring some health to her please, just a little bit, please...
At least I'll see all the family the next two weeks and then I'll rejoin my girlfriend starting the new year. And my mom, brothers and sister are all doing well from what I heard.
So I wish all of you reading or not this thing to have a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy New Year or however you want to call it... let's just say.. GOOD TIMES!
