damn sneaky economists...
somehow, I got roped into working a party for a grad school professor I've met once. I never really agreed to this, but somehow, it got twisted that I did and now I'm stuck. eh, I get $30 and some networking with grad school profs, but still, it's my friday night and this is grad student-type grunt work. I don't have to suck up to anyone enough right now to need to do this sort of thing.
this is why I will never make it in academics.
