i'll comment here to avoid turning that thread over to the lotr nuts...ok, i'll agree with you about getting some credit. i'm sure it was nearly impossible to make that story 100% accurate, but still, they changed things and added new stuff.
sorry, just a sore subject with me.

their were a lot of characters that didn't do the book justice.
but i was impressed with the visuals. yeah, i imagined a lot more, but peter jackson did an amazing job bringing that part of the book on to the screen.
