One of the guys killed in the friendly fire incedant (a while back in Afganastan) my parents knew. They went to basic with his older brother...
One of the guys that just came home from the hospital in Germany (one of the ones with brain damage from the suicide bombing in Afganastan) Tim knew from his time in service (as short as that was)... and this prompted him to look up one of his friends that was in his unit.. and found a picture from August of him patroling in the middle east. Which means Tim would be over there if he'd stayed in.
It's a nice picture thought.
