My zombie short film Baby Steps is continuing its shambling march across the Atlantic - having recently played in Mexico City's Macabro Film Festival, it's fetched up in Atlanta, GA, where it will be playing as part of the HorrorQuest Film Festival 2012. Here's the bumph, on the off chance that anyone reading this lives there.

In case you haven't heard me shouting it from the rooftops, my short zombie film Baby Steps is playing in the East End Film Festival next weekend.

Here's the bumph.

Yeah definitely going to get a better lock with my next bike. I had a really nice one but I lost the key so it was useless. And the day before it got stolen I thought to myself "I should get a new bike lock this weekend."

Well, it's been a while since I've been on here. The reason being that 1) I got a new job and 2) I've been busy moving house. Now I'm living down in Richmond, an area whose name must always be prefaced by the word "leafy."

It's odd, I deliberately picked Richmond because it was as close to work as I could get while still remaining...

I used to live in Surbiton, that was part of the reason in it's London but not.

You can get a night bus so you are not totally at a loss.

Oh, I know - I deliberately made sure I was on the night bus route... smile

Here is another video what I did. It has a zombie in it. It was made for significantly less money than A Stitch In Time. I think the zombie contacts were the most expensive thing about it.

Baby Steps

Braaaaains.

Yeah we're going to need some more blogs around these parts.

Here is a short film what I did:

<Deleted 'cause I'm trying to punt the film out to festivals!>

It is about quantum physics and haberdashery. Sort of.

Yes! David Mitchell and Sue Perkins on the same team. It was glorious. It's a shame that most of what was said won't get aired due to rudeness or just not being completely and utterly random.

I also liked the film.

You get a shout out in the latest Naked Scarf.

It's been a weird week for me. I had to euthanise my goldfish, he'd been ill for a while now and nothing I tried helped. I spent a truly eye-watering amount of money on medications and things for the tank, tried to restart the nitrogen cycle but the poor little fella's system just couldn't take it.

When I was in my first year of secondary...

Been a busy start to the year for me. New job, new flat (which comes complete with a cat! Who is sitting next to me as I type this!). Things are starting to settle down now, but I still need to get some furniture for my room...
honey:
so great to meet you! remind me of the books/films you recommended? Hopefully see you again soon smile
elevendayempire:
Cheers! Yeah, it was fun - I'm paying the price for it now though, feeling a little, um, delicate. Bloody Peroni, I will never learn.

Okay - books! Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch. Films! Six Shooter by the guy who did In Bruges (it's on iTunes, IIRC). Also, MirrorMask. smile
