I start teaching my Fashion Design intensive today...
in approximately two hours.
A little nervous, its mostly high school kids.
And I have 15 students, which is actually a large class.

A friend of mine said he deals with issues in this way:
1) Is it a problem or an annoyance? If it's an annoyance, ignore it
2) If it's a problem, is it my problem? If it's not my problem I don't have to deal with it (unless I want to)
3) If it is my problem, can I make it somebody else's problem? If so, do it!
4) If it's unavoidably my problem, is it a big problem or a small one? If it's a small one, I can probably ignore it until it gets bigger or I get less busy.
5) If it's unavoidably my big problem, then I can I do anything about it? If not, don't worry about it. What will be will be
6) If it's unavoidably my big problem and I can do something about it, DO IT!

I'm not sure I could do this, but it's an interesting exercise.

Awareness of letting others control your life is one step towards taking back that control. I too am held back from what it is I really want to do, too, but it is me holding me back. Frankly, it's driving me crazy! frown

Be yourself -- take back your control. Step one, take back your "no"
You will be successful as an artist and mentor when you allow yourself to be.

Last night we went to the Island Bar in Lee's Summit,
and today, I feel extremely tired, slightly sick but I did indeed
wake up in a bed with two other girls? How does that happen?

My bed isn't even very large.
Atleast I know the girls.
Very well. They're my bestest of friends
and gorgeous. It was just startling.

I got another new job.
I'm up to 3.5 now.
That's a lot of work and not enough time...
BUT I'll be teaching, only temporarily.
I'm teaching a fashion design class starting next month.
AND I just got more commission work!!
AND I think everything else is in motion.

There will be more surprises soon....

I'm afraid the full-time photog thing isn't likely to happen soon. I've got a way-smart son who's going to be a junior in HS and is looking at out-of-state colleges.... So unless I win the lottery or something, I think I'm stuck here for about 6 years. frown I cna hope, though. wink
