TODAY'S TOPIC: MASTER CLEANSING - PRE-CLEANSE DAYS PRE-1 & PRE-2
Okay, having made the semi-long trip to Austin to locate and raid the Whole Foods health grocery store, I have now procured the following items:
* Grade B Organic Maple Syrup 32oz (about $13)
* About 40 Organic Lemons (roughly $2.50 per pound, 4 pounds total, but I noticed local non-organic was only $1.50 cheaper anyway)
* About 9 non-organic Limes (3 for $1, guess they didn't carry Organic or out of season?)
* A liquid daily whole foods-ONLY multi-vitamin container to replace the maple syrup with my lemonade ($28 and includes Sevia extract as a natural sweetener saving me $9)
* Kosher sea salt, non-purified, non-refined, non-iodized, NON-BLEACHED, no additives (about $6 for 1 baggy)
The above ingredients also go along with the Cayenne pepper ($2) and Senna Leaf tea (chocolate breadnut Smooth Moves brand $4.29 a box from GNC, got 2 with 16 tea packets each) that I already had purchased.

Preparation DAY 1: Since I was concerned about just how hard the Senna Leaf tea was going to make me run to the crapper, especially if I was working (physical job, shouldn't need to make a potty run!). I ate light foods but not sparingly this day. So about three hours prior to bedtime (instructions normally say 1-2 hours prior) I took the tea mixed with about one (1) teaspoon of maple syrup. Tasted better than teas I've had before! No bowel movements right up until bedtime, where I read a book for another hour and had only one false alarm (finished my chapter though while waiting, lol).
Preparation DAY 2: Normal 2 bowel movements in the morning, waking up about my usual 10am (if not at work already). Rumbles in the belly for about three (3) hours before the tea kicked in. Unlike others who've tried the laxative teas before, I did not experience watery movement at all. Although all day today the belly rumbles came and went, with slight gas and light bowel movements that were easily controllable. This should change to faster and a bit wilder bowel movement when the daily sea salt morning flush is taken during the Master Cleanse itself. I am also about to take another dose of the Senna Leaf tea with maple syrup (about the same amount). Good thing my job has a break between today (this post) and next Tuesday unless the military has an unscheduled flight that I have to run (I'm on-call 24/7). More news on the tea and the morning flush during the next broadcast. __This is Element_103 signing out__

(I mean I've posted about gas on other blogs, but it was about gas wells leaking, NOT biological functions LOL) Good luck with the schedule, I know how inconvenient it is to be on call like that.
So where does one find this cleansing diet? Sounds like something I might try one of these days, just to give it a whirl and get rid of the toxins. Although my regimen of Slim Fast, meat-free foods, and mini-donuts seems to be working pretty well for curve control... ^_^;;
