Well, time to bid two deep-shade red tabby kittens faretheewell as they will be given to a no-kill shelter for a donation or three. I can't raise three kittens, their mother and another young adult male who have all seemingly adopted me (I've always attracted felines and vice versa in my lifetime). The kittens can be adopted out into a hopefully good home, although it is hard to say in a military community with so many families having to move so often that the adopted kiddos get abandoned on the streets or highways with hardly a sniffle from the adults.... The no-kill shelter will raise and spay/neuter these twins along with relevant shots. I'll adopt a very tiny dark grey sister from a different father, who has a special forehead marking that calls to me, and keep the mother and possibly the young adult male (possibly an older sibling?). I used to enjoy dogs, but cats eat less, make less mess and can be just as faithful (maybe not as loyal) as a dog if brought up symbiotically.
