after making it a spur of the moment decision last night. I've been running 5-6 days a week, usually 2 miles a day. This was 3.1 miles and I was worried my legs wouldn't hold up. I realize now the hardest part of runs now aren't leg fatigue, it's breathing. Music helps me keep consistent breath. (and gum...if I didn't have gum when I ran, I'd be dead in the first 200yds.
Ran the 5k in 23:50. I only saw 8 people cross the finish line before me. Amazed.
It can only get better from here. This just reinforces the training and conditioning.

Isn't it a joy how one success leads momentum.
