Controversial post coming? Yessir!
This whole Abercrombie & Fitch thing is getting wayyyyyyyy fucking out of hand.
First off, I'm not saying it's right to disclude anyone from anything. So don't take it that way.
Did anyone really NOT fucking notice this trend from the very beginning of Abercrombie? For real? They haven't changed their style, they haven't changed their models, they haven't made other sizes other than S/M/L/XL from the very beginning.
So why the outrage now? Just because the CEO comes out and says it? Anyone who couldn't see that writing on the wall is dense as fuck. Sidenote: The dude is fucking ugly as sin. Scary as shit to look at. Aside from that, the dude clearly states their target audience and reasons as to why it's their target audience...and A&F is nailing it. They are making money hand over fist off the very people he is talking about.
Is it right? No...but you can't say their business model isn't working. They've been "exclusionary" from the very beginning. In fact, as a teen I remember going into the store and not even being able to find a shirt SMALL enough for me (seeing as how I was 4'10 and 100lbs
