Thanks for all of the replies to my first blog, sorry about my community inexperience, but I think Im getting the hang of it. The other day I went to a concert for the band Portugal. The Man, and damn, was it exciting. The crowd was very unified. Everybody was happy, I was really drunk, and the performance was beyond amazing. Not only did their live performance surpass the quality of their albums, it was one of the best performances I have been to this year. After the concert, my friends and I walked around on the UCLA campus and walked into a few parties that were going on in frat and sorority houses. Everybody that goes there must've been out, since it was the first Friday night since they started school. My friends and I got even more drunk (off of drinks we stole from all those parties) and walked around the Westwood area, and inevitably ended up at In-N-Out for a refuel before we hit up a few more parties, which I don't even remember going to. We left around 3 because I had work at 9 the next morning, and listened to Rodrigo y Gabriella on the way home, which I had never heard before but thought it was absolutely amazing (probably mainly because of the booze, but I have since listened to them again, and they can fucking rock it) All in all, the night went well- a few good hook-ups, and the inevitable regrettable one, a shitload of alcohol, and some amazing music. That's basically all I could ask for to have a perfect night.
Here's a short video I shot at the concert on my iPhone 3GS. The audio is a little distorted, so I suggest turning your speakers down a little bit, and adjusting it accordingly to prevent damage to your speakers:
