I went to my parents house last night.
There were 7 exiled Tibetan Monks
praying in their living room. It was
quite an experience.
One of the older monks was the 2nd
incarnation of a high shamen. They
blessed the home and it's inhabinents through chanting and singing.
Their temple was torn down by the
Chinese government so they are here
in America raising funds to build a new
place of worship.
Only one of them understood a little
english but they had a translator with
them.
I was a little intimidated and not sure
how to behave around them, but they
were very kind and gracious. I wish I
could have spoken to them for awhile.
They had a very wise and gentle
energy.
They left for Cleveland this morning and
will stay in America until May. I hope
they come back around.
Next time I'll convince them to take me
along.
