It's cold outside people. I mean fuggin' cold. I need to go sled riding.(with a flask of course)
I was thinking about some peeps I know who are having babies. Two couples each with one in the oven. So what is, or where does the need to pro-create come from? Why must we form a new life from the combining of two? Is it the idea of giving someone the gift that we where given? Or that it might be fun? Or that we need someone to take care of us when we can no longer do it ourselves? Sheeeesh... I'm still a baby. I usually cry and whine until someone sticks a nipple in my mouth.
Some nice trippy afro-jazz from Hubert Laws fills the airwaves right now. Some guy traded in some great jazz vinyl today. Some Brother Jack Mcduff, Pharoah Sanders, Richard 'Groove' Holmes, John Coltrane. Some alright tunes today.
I may be moving to Cleveland in the fall. I wanted to go to the west coast or east coast for school but i really need to save more money before I do that. So I think I'll be doing that in Sept. The Tremont district is a good place. Great food, great bars, galleries and the like. I believe it will be a good time and I'm ready to meet some new folks. I've been in Akron all my life and I know some great people, but I'm ready. The time has come.
I'm going to start reading this book of Van Gogh's letters to his brother. I'm curious to the pathway to his insanity and believe this will provide some insight.
