I saw the first episode of Carnivale last night.
Iam an instant fan; where has this gem been hiding?

The sum total of american television we get over here consists of reality TV and acronym cop dramas, ( CSI, NCIS, L&O: et al.). All of which have the same basic theme: "If you transgress, the Laws will git'choo".

I am going out to buy a VCR specifically for the purposes of taping this show. It's that good.
