The latest #SuicideGirlsPlaylist homework from @missy and @rambo is Top 5. This is pretty straight forward. I took a look at my Itunes top plays and at my Last.fm scrobbles to get my Top 5.
1. Thrice - In Exile
I think I have shared this one before. My favorite song from my favorite band. Everything about this song gets me.
2. Johnny Cash - Hurt
Greatest cover ever. I personally think it's one of the greatest recordings ever made.
3. My Morning Jacket - Librarian...having worked in a library for almost 8 years and fallen in love with two people (an ex and my current girlfriend) that I met there, a song about love at first sight in a library really hits home for me.
4. Refused - New Noise
This song blew my mind the first time I heard it. It completely changed what I thought punk was/could be.
5. Sublime - Doin' Time
Been a favorite since 6th grade. I never get sick of this song.
A little change up from the Top 5 I gave for the blog homework.
