This week's @bloghomework is a tough one, hence taking a week to do it. Top 5 songs!? I could do 5 for different moods, genres, time periods, etc etc. Its really tough to choose just 5. Alas I think I have decided on a Top 5, videos spoilered for easier loading.
1) Thrice - In exile....favorite song by my favorite band easily my most played song ever.
2) Johnny Cash - Hurt...the greatest cover ever recorded. Nuff said.
3) AFI - God Called in Sick Today...probably my favorite song I learned to play the whole way through. Plus high school, good times.
4) Kings of Leon - Cold Desert...theres just something about this song. The first time I heard it I felt like it encapsulated how I felt at that period of time in my life. Even the title cold desert fit since I live in the desert and it was winter.
5) My Morning Jacket - Librarian...having worked in a library for almost 8 years and fallen in love with two people (an ex and my current girlfriend) that I met there, a song about love at first sight in a library really hits home for me.

Ok so technically thats 12 songs...but 12 songs is like an album so it works.
