zephyr

it was winter for 100 years
raven steals the clocks
helen of troy's breath
freed a thousand blind ghosts
born of yesterdays shadowy sorrows
and wept the immeasurable grief of newly orphaned children

eyes now opened
to the gift of clean deep cuts
raven steals 3 hearts
black fingers claw diamond skyward
hungrily scavenging a feast for the west wind
