Personal business is picking up. My midwife is having me come out and do some work for her. She's always generous re: compensation.
Also, a local person who owns a metaphysical store (and is writing her 3rd book) is having me draw up some diagrams for her. I'm having a little difficulty with them. They just look so damned cluttered.
And, I'm working a couple days at Gottschalks. Man I don't care if I work one day a month there.. as long as I get a discount still.
One more week until I test. I don't feel pregnant. But I think I'm going to just lay off the tracking it thing. Just keep on the herbs to help balance my cycles and test when I'm late. We'll see.
The cat was picked up yesterday (a couple days late). They were SO nice about it and understanding. I *really* think that she had problems that they weren't letting on to. Well, they're not bad people... They're even donating any of her stuff that they don't feel they can use to a new no-kill shelter that friends of theirs are starting. In fact! When they do re-sell Cheesa they will be giving the money to that shelter. I thought that was VERY awesome. At any rate.. I think it will be awhile before I get another cat. We'll just spoil my crippled rat, rotten. She had a stroke at some point and has problems moving one side of her body.. She's adjusting pretty well but we're trying to give her a bit more individual attention.
And now I conclude my book. Take care.
