Running off of an empty stomach and a venti americano with soymilk and two shots of mocha. I'm certain that you get the picture.. ::jitter::
I spent this St. Patrick's day proudly clad in green (considering my wardrobe is 1/3 green
) although I regret to inform you that I did not smoke any. You see, a tolerance break is needed. (23 days clean and still going! <3 ) I've been a committed stoner for 6 years now. Boy how time flies when your'e having fun.
Continuing with my St. Patty's day.. I went down to Hollywood around 12:00 am Thursday night and walked around with my guys (and pup Karma) to people watch. My friend Drela and his younger buddy Jesse from Colorado went into TigerHeat to look for some of that Drunk Dirty City Pussay. Drela coming across two wonderfully gay men and Jesse coming back with a story in how he made contact with a TigerHeat stripper and nobody else. While they were clubbing it up I wandered the streets near Amoeba records and stopped to have a veggie burger to then have a couple of drunk guys in line behind me offer Marijuana and Cocaine because of my dreadlocks. (Slowed down to a quit with the pot, and will never touch cocaine) They went forward with verbally assuring each other that I was not down. I wasn't down.
Friday passed.
During this past night I woke up a multiple of times with that young Colorado kid staring at me in my sleep. I'd get the strange sixth sense and opened my eyes to see him in the dark making eye contact with me. Pulled the covers over my head and cuddled close to my lover for protection. Never before had I felt more scared to be sleeping in a room full of people I knew. Kid apparently has speed issues that I wasn't aware of. Should have figured it out the moment I heard him talking to himself.
Days go by fast, but these next few months will be flying by faster than any other year before.
FESTIVALS GALORE!! MY FUCKING GOD!
April - Coachella. (Not attending for certain, but will attempt to "Jedi" it in if the opportunity presents itself)
Empire of the sun <3 I must see them
May- LIGHTENING IN THE BOTTLE presented by The Do Lab (Will be going there no matter what.)
June-July- Electric Forest in Michigan (Sick ass lineup for sure, but am currently working on my tickets out there!)
August- Burning Man in Nevada (Currently working on this as well)
