Everything is alright here in little ol' Pearl River, LA.
Hurricane Gustav was a lot more polite than expected.
I have to admit that I was completely freaked out and worried through out the week leading up to the storm.
The media over analyzed and exaggerated the storm just a bit, but then again I'm not quite sure how New Orleans is holding up at the moment.
During what I called "the most violent part of the storm" I was actually outside in a wife-beater with barefeet.
I tried to have as much fun as I could without being inside the house.
It was actually refreshing to let the rain pour down on me, and the wind try to knock me over.
I know I sound crazy....

Anywho.
Remember one of my recent blogs where I stated that I wanted to move away from this swampy state?
Well, come this Saturday, I'll be driving through Mississippi and Arkansas to move myself into Oklahoma.

yeah it wasnt so bad but the Houma area is just starting to get power and it hit my apartments pretty hard. im glad it was less than they expected around the Katrina time it was more than they expected. im glad that most people were taken care of and safe. its always better to be prepared and not need/use it than to not have it at all.

Oklahoma, very nice ive never been any particular reason?
