Alright, So I'm coming home yesterday, heading towards my room and something makes me stop dead in my tracks.
Jack Sparrow is mounted in a picture frame on the family's computer table and he's replaced my baby picture.
What do you do when sexy replaces cute?
I shrugged it off and had a good laugh, I called my boyfriend in to come look and he approved with a nod.
Speaking of my boyfriend, his 21st birthday is tomorrow and I've already showered him with gifts and love.
Around 3:30 yesterday, I got a ride over to Frank&Sons which is an in door swap meet for nerds like me. They sell collectible items like rare Star Wars toys, comic books, movie and cartoon posters, game cards, action figures, etc. I went there looking for a Berserk action figure from Art of War. All the action figure stalls weren't open yet so I was a bit disappointed that I didn't have much variety to choose from. It would have been awesome if I found Guts and Slan from the God Hand issue, but I didnt. So I ended up buying a 12 inch Guts action figure for him, and a Morrigan model (Also for him, but mainly for me )
Morrigan
Satisfied with my purchases, I began to head out towards the door, when to my right, the coolest thing I saw there caught my eye. Seras Victoria from Hellsing. I had to have her, I never saw an action figure quite like this one. But the problem was, I only had $15 bucks left. Entering the store, I looked around for the owner and asked how much she was. "$16 with out her box" he said, and I told him I had only $15. Sold!, and I took her in my hands with adoration.
Along with these toys, I also got him his first video ipod, and the work of Clive Barker in "Visions of Heaven and Hell" But of course, his favorite gift was his Guts toy, which I'm not allowed to play with.
I've had my eye on "The work of directors" tapes that include the works of music directors such as: Anton Corbijn, Jonathan Glazer, Mark Romanek, Stephane Sednaout, Chris Cunningham, etc. For a long time, and I finally bought the first set, along with some weed. He bought the Pocket Monsters game, and yesterday was overloaded with entertainment.
I didn't get much sleep.
