Well, I'm back on the site. After about 3 of those "We Miss You" auto e-mails from Missy later, I decided to renew. Partially for the wrong reasons. The whole living with the girlfriend thing was going alright until about 2 weeks ago. All I got was a Dear John text saying something along the lines of we aren't compatible and I don't see a future where both of use are happy. P.S. I'm moving out tomorrow. So while I was at work, she moved her stuff out. I came home to find the place looking as if she was never here. I'm not gonna lie, I'm not terribly heart broken over it. I was fed up with her getting shitfaced drunk all the time and driving home like it was okay. In the back of my head I knew it wouldn't last...I had just hoped she would have the decency to wait until the lease was up. Now I don't have anything tying me down to this state once the lease is up. I'm thinking about maybe looking for a new job out of state. Going to start looking in CA first...then maybe WI (I have family in both...guess I'm trying to play it safe). My mom is selling her house here in Oklahoma and moving to Chatsville, CA some time around January. The past few months I have been looking for a new job and even considering getting some IT certifications. I'm just kinda sick of my dead end job on the Police Department. I'd like to get the hell away from any law enforcement, but if I go out of state, I might have to stick with that just to get a starting point.
Last weekend I went with some friends to Fayettevill, AR for the Bikes, Blues, and BBQ rally. We stayed in a cabin in Eureka Springs, which was nice, but also expensive. 10 dudes in a cabin with 3 beds ended up costing $140 each for the weekend. It was kinda nice to get away from the shit that just happened, but I was completely out of place being the only guy that didn't own a motorcycle. I don't know a lot about motorcycle mechanics either, so I didn't have shit to say most of the trip. Aside from that, we only spent a couple hours at the actual rally, and it wasn't anything special. Most of the trip was spent in a pickup truck following the guys as they ride. A good chunk of that time was spent on the side of the road, because their bikes break down way too much. And they keep asking me why I don't have one...here's your sign. The final night we went into Eureka Springs and did some drinking. It was cut short for me, because my ride decided that he was a married pussy and didn't want to stay out. So I was forced to take the ride back to the cabin or be shit outta luck. I took a few pictures, but they were nothing special. If you really want to see them, just look me up at Book of Face
