Eirian is in Florida!
She is sitting naked, on her tummy, in her hotel room, typing this update, after spending the morning hours out in the sun!
Eirian is going to her Earth Dad's tomorrow and he lives in the back water town of Oak Hill, so there will be no internet there.
Eirian loves Florida! Sitting on the beach, with a lovely breeze, watching the green blue waters that call to you. That is how Eirian feels, like she could almost walk out to the ocean and let it take her where ever it wishes.
Eirian bought this really cheap, Disney, kid's camera. She thought that it would be good for carrying around because it is tiny, and the pictures couldn't be as bad as her phone camera. She was wrong! There is no zoom and the range is just a very tiny square. Check some pics out:
The beach pictures are of my view from Eirian's hotel room. Then I there are two kitty pictures she took when she was testing this piece of crap camera, and the one that just looks like nothing was an attempt to show her tan line, but as she said the range for the camera really sucks.
She brought her digital camera, but forgot the memory card.
Eirian plans to get a disposable camera, then she will have to scan them in when she returns to Maryland.
Eirian is feeling better, OH!!! And she got straight As for the spring semester and an A in her summer class. Eirian is super excited about that!
Um...what else? Eirian had much to say but now she forgets.
She just started reading a Stephen King book she found in a grocery store, "Lisey's Story." It's OK so far but Eirian is only on the second chapter. It's about the wife of a famous writer, who has been dead for 2 years (the writer.) I love how vulgar Stephen King can be and he doesn't just hint to things he describes them right out. "Lisey had seen him as an unfinished prodject, a thing to do before going to sleep. ...blow the hot shot young writer until he gets some decent wood."
Eirian was originally going to read the fist Harry Potter book because she seems to be one of the very few who haven't. However, she couldn't get into it...she was in the mood for reading something more adult.
Ok, Eirian has said enough...for now. She hopes to remember what else she wanted to say.
