burn in hell ayn rand
hello everyone. why no, i'm not dead, held hostage, etc., simply too lazy and too boring to update my journal. i'm at work right now (though not doing my job), and it's rather pretty outside right now, so no one really feels like browsing a silly record shop. fuck them. stinking cross-bred animals. the whole lot of them....
excuse my typed outburst of disdain. i've been working too much this week, and the middle-aged women from atlanta are on my last fucking nerve.
in other news i saw a local production of death of a salesman on friday. with the unfortunate exception of one actress/director, it was magnificent (she shall remain nameless, but she stubled over her lines, and reliable sources tell me she's an absolute alky). my friend david played bernard; i never knew he had an inner nerd. i'm going to try to take some friends to see it again next weekend.
well, i have to wrap this ramble up; some old parrot head is disorganizing the jimmy buffet cds. i better stop him before he commits a major sin: mixing buffet with built to spill.
"so einjunge, what's playin'?"
air the virgin suicides, live (a wonderful concert recording of the soundtrack with very good encore tracks including "talisman", "le femme d'argent", and "j'ai dormi sous l'eau".)
blue skied an' clear a morr music compliation (wonderful stuff by ulrich schnauss, komeit, b. fleischmann, mm, and others.)
funkadelic maggot brain (it doesn't get betta than funkadelic muthafucka!)
beck guero (not his best, but i dig it. for now.)
saint entienne travel edition 1990-2005 (i'm very impressed with this collection. 5 stars kids!)
serge gainsbourg mauvaises nouvelles des etoiles (reggae serge makes me happy
)
