Hey everyone! I hope everyone is having a good December and enjoying the snow if you have snow! If you don't then I hope you enjoy the warm weather!
I'm not sure where to begin as I suck at writing blogs, ha ha! Anyway, my December as been pretty busy so far with good and bad news. I guess the good news is that my chronic pain has been under control a lot better since my pain management doctor has changed my medication around. I suppose I should explain in more detail on why I have chronic pain. The short answer is that I've a history of lung collapses and they like to collapse A LOT! I've had over 20 lung collapses, 12 chest tubes and 3 major lung surgeries! My last surgery was in Feb of 2009. I'm hoping this will be the last lung collapse but who knows, anything is possible! What else has happened this month, oh my older brother came to see us. He lives in New York and is doing his Masters in Buffalo. I still live at home so it was nice to see him for a change! I rarely get to see him because he is busy with his college work and I am usually sick a lot ha ha. I can't wait until after Christmas because my brother and I always go on a ski/snowboarding trip. This year we are going to a few ski resorts on the east coast. We are planning to go to one ski resort every day for 4 or 5 days. I can't wait because it's going to be a blast! Hopefully my lung doesn't collapse like last year >.> Last year we went to Jackson Hole, WY and as we got there, my lung collapsed. Lets say I wasted a good $600+ and I didn't get to snowboard!
I guess the bad news is that my Great Uncle died at 88 on Saturday. The weird thing is that I woke up that day feeling really bad and I had no idea why. Then my sister told me that he died so I was kinda freaked out. I'll miss him a lot! What else, well my depression has been getting worse since I started taking a medication so I stopped taking that. Hopefully it improves but who knows.
Well, that's about it but I thought I would write a blog because I'm bored!
