Ouch! I just had my 6g hoops replaced with 4g plugs in my ears two days ago. I love my piercer Spanky and he does good work, but the man is not gentle. When I first got my ears pierced years ago, I could have sworn they were perfectly even. Since I have had hoops ever since, I never noticed them shifting or moving. Now that I have plugs though, they seem to be not quite as even as I remember... (It's not really noticable... just... not as even...) Has anyone else had this happen?
I also just bought my fight for the cure (or another similar slogan) dog tags from Aldo today. I fully believe in contributing to the fight of HIV/aids, and it is cool to get some swag to wear. I don't really feel the need to put it in everyone's face but I do like making people notice, and maybe even think. I believe alot of people don't like to think about things that are unplesant. If it doesn't directly affect their world they just brush it off in a corner some where and avoid it. Maybe wearing these tags will make them a little uncomforatable, but it is a growing threat more poeple need to givesome thought. I found out the hard way when one of my best friends was diagnost with HIV only a year ago. It's kinda scary. Oh well, that's my rant.
