I take in stary cats. I am currently housing 13 or so and feeding about 25.
I definitely advocate going to the local rescue/shelter before a breeder or even worse, a pet store.
and I happen to live a bit off of the beaten path, so to speak, so people like to bring their animals out by my house and abandon them, so I am always taking in more.
