I finally got my rook last night...It's been a long wait. But I'm quite happy to have it. I had planned for it since April and my piercer was game...but things just kept pushing it back...all things out of our control.
We both think things happen for reasons...to put us in certain places at certain times... so that we either meet a specific person or avoid a certain experience...that kind of thing. Last night I hit the shop at about 6:30pm and we didn't have to rook in place till almost 9pm...things just kept happening to push it back...We weren't even sure it was gonna happen till about then.
Lately, each piercing I've gotten has been a very drawn out, specific and memorable experience, if that makes any sense. Which is good since piercing of late has been coming from my need for pennance...Go figure!
