I'm riding the roller coaster that is life...(and probably and undiagnosed chemical imbalance...)
After a good long while of being "sans siezures" my boy had a grand mal on Sunday while at work (then another one the next day)...his store was too hot and 5 hours was not enough sleepy time for him...
He's had epilepsy most of his life but he has had so much improvement in terms of the frequency of his siezures just in the 10 years we've been together...
These days there's just a few things that will put him in the siezure zone...getting over heated or not getting enough sleep are the generally the culprits.
The "heat" part he can't always help but the "sleep" issue is completely within his power to control...
You see, my boy is a UT junkie (Unreal Tournament) and he plays with his little friends online all the fucking time! Whenever he's not sleeping or at work he's online playing...I hardly see him... even when we're both home! He generally doesn't even come to bed untill I'm getting ready for work in the morning...
That's how he fucks up his sleep pattern too! He gets caught up playing and by the time it hits him that he needs to get to bed, it might be too late...That's how he had the last grand mal siezure before Sunday's biggie...
If it sounds like I'm mad at him for having the siezures...I'm not...He has epilpsy and will probably always have siezures here and there...I knew that when we met...
It's just that he's been doing so well and it's always a disappointment for us both when he has one...It's like we've made so many steps forward (though it has taken us longer than most, I'm sure) when he does have a siezure, it feels like we're pushed back a few steps...
I'm just frustrated...as usual.
On the brighter side, his recovery was very quick and he seems to feel fine now...we paid our taxes and today, so that's over...and our veggie jerky order came in (yummy.)
Much love to all!!!

Hope you're feeling better - sometimes shit happens. Sometimes you have control over the shit, sometimes you dont. You had no control over this shit, but someone else did. Dont blame yourself for someone else's shit - no matter how much you love them
for you to make you
