WHERE MY GERUNDS AT?! Parenthetical.
WHAAAT?!!!
In other news, the original Clash of the Titans is on tonight. That's how I do.
Those movies were so lovely.
Shit is on!
Also need to make a bookstore run for Margaret Atwood's "The Edible Woman" as epub/pdf is impossible to find and I do think I'd like a physical book that I can gnaw on if the mood dawns.
That and I love bookstores/recordstores. They're comforting somehow. I think it's because I'm neurotic or, perhaps, the inverse is true as my grandmother did a lot of Library volunteer work (she had read the entire Harlequin Romance section as evidenced by her initials written discretely on the inside cover of each) and I spent many childhood hours filing books (i.e. sitting on the floor reading).
I'd live in a library. I even love those little black step stools. I loved the card catalog (r.i.p. dewy decimal<3.) I loved the dumbwaiter to get books to the second story of the library. (This library was an old Georgian building in my hometown.) I love the idea of so many worlds and ideas organized in planes.. that there are these slices of reality all stored and organized and you can just have whatever of those conversations you desire.
Fucking nerd.
