Yesterday was pretty much a total abortion.
I did get an hour of my Yoga and an hour at the gym done.
All of this I finished just around the time the pool was meant to open. I changed into my bikini all anticipatory of swimming laps to find the pool closed (after opening time) as they were shocking the pool (that meant it would be out of commission for hours.) I promptly hoofed it to the leasing office to file a complaint and encountered the office's gilacunt of a manager. It went as such:
Me: "wouldn't it make a bit more sense to shock the pool either prior to opening or after closing."
Managerbitch: "we have a right to close the pool when we want and the maintainance people had an emergency prior to 10 AM"
Me: "Couldn't the so-called emergency wait until after they poured a couple of cups of chlorine in the pool and THEN handle your "emergency." (I have experience with the maintainance people and, trust me, they are never handling "emergencies" infact, they still haven't come by to fix my smoke alarms which have been out for months"
Managerbitch: "No. I wanted to deal with the other part first."
Me: "So I guess model-tenants such as my self can just fend for themselves. I have had a pool myself so you don't get to make up reasons that make no-sense to someone with an IQ over 100. Couldn't they come in early or later than the pool closing time to handle this instead of inconveniencing paying tenants?"
Managerbitch: "We don't do that. My staff works from 9 to 5."
Me: "So you aren't adequately stocked with maintainance?"
Managerbitch: "NO! They all have families."
Me: "Most people have families and that doesn't prevent them from getting up early or working a graveyard shift, particularly when that job strictly involves dumping a few chemicals in a pool"
Anyhow, she continued to be belligerant and defensive with me and when I pointed out that she should be more respectful she denied her crass tone (as though I am totally incapable of discerning attitude.)
She said she'd call me whenever the pool was being shocked (as though that is some consolation.
Bitch!
