holy. fucking. shit.
i am over 2000 miles from home right now. i've never been this far away, even on a cruise. and i have NEVER been even close this far away without my parents.
i'm in Los Angeles, California, coming from Metro Detroit, Michigan,
today's Saturday now, right? yep. today is the last day of the concert. 4 consecutive days of balls-to-the-wall, blow-your-fucking-mind-out, shredding-to-the-next-dimension Coheed and Cambria. oh my god the first three days have been so fucking epic. last night i thought i was gonna die after the concert. it's the only night i haven't done anything yet, just because me and my friend blasted our fucking lungs and limbs out at the show and came back to the hotel and dropped like flies we were so fucking exhausted.
and i have been smoking the best weed. THE BEST. constantly. a friend of ours has a weed card and he even took us to a dispensary. christ, let me just get this down day by day. god i have so fucking much to talk about and we're still here til Tuesday.
DAY 1-
i'll start off with including the day we flew out as the first day. November 4th... election day. i cast in the ballot for the first time EVER (wooooo fuck yah for being barely legal) and left for the airport. the results were just coming in for Indiana and Kentucky i think as were about to board the plane, and man were they making me nervous. then we jumped on a plane, which, let me mention real fast that i fucking love plane rides, they are by far the craziest form of travel if you actually think about what is occurring all around you while you fly. it's absolutely nuts. anyway, the moment we land in L.A. the stewardess announces that Obama was the winner, and me and my friend partied in our seats. Wooooo what a great first thing to hear in L.A. we then went to pick up our bags and got picked up by Bree, this supernice girl that my friend knows through Stickam. we threw our shit in her trunk and hopped in the back seat and took off on the freeway to the Valley to her friend John Hock's apartment. once we arrived, we immediately smoked pure, vibrant, medical weed out of a bong that just ripped me to shreds. one hit of that shit after smoking them D-town browns for so long and i was blown to another galaxy. John Hock and his roommate, Johnnie, were so fucking nice and were sooooo interesting. I didn't know that e-famous people could be so down-to-earth in real life, or irl, as us forum junkies like to say. Johnnie was talking about he won some High Times award in 2006 and I was like "suuuuure, you and everyone else in Hollywood", but then he actually showed it to us! ah holy fuck it was cool. after that point, the jet lag began to take it's toll (3 hour time difference, and both me and Juli had been up since about 7 AM Michigan time to vote and get our shit together) and we passed out in John Hock's bed, which he made for us. he's such a fucking sweetheart! everyone on the internet thinks he's so full of himself and mean. he's SO FUCKING SWEET! he gave me much of his chocolate soymilk and it was fantastic. his tattoos are amazing too. AMAZING. they make me ashamed that mine aren't as fucking perfect and artistic and beautiful. he inspired me to get a tattoo down here. i'll probably get either the keywork or the dragonfly. just a little one though, maybe on my ankle or something. i'll get a typical girl tattoo for once, just for L.A. at least it's not a butterfly. anyway, i have shit to do today. Kill Audio signing on Melrose! holy shit i cannot fucking wait. i will add more to this later, but who knows when. ahhhhhh i am having a blasty blast!
