So two point five days left until I am winging my way to Sunnyvale, California for a week. It is for a class, but from what I understand there will be plenty of time to head out to SanFran for fun and excitement. It is going to be strange. Between now and the end of August I only have four real days of work. Not sure how I pulled that off, but more than willing to live through it and take one for the team.
I have already been informed that my Belgium trip is more of a get away from the office and go drink trip than a real working trip so I am looking forward to that. Of course some of the guys that I work with feel the trip will be wasted on me since I don't drink beer, but let's face it having ready access to numerous German wines is not a waste at all. Of course I've also been told that there are a lot of really good whiskey type drinks from the area. The choices seem endless, but I will get to the end even if I have to crawl to reach it.
The final preparations for the group camping trip are almost complete. So far I have six request to smuggle individuals in my suitcase. It may be snug, but if I remove a foot or two I should be able to fit everyone.
