Okay, 2:30 AM counts as the next day so here is the write up (or at least what I can remember). First off let me say that the pictures of the ladies on this site do not do them nearly enough justice. They are way sexier in person.
I wish I could have stayed around to chat with the ladies, but I have to be at work in a couple of hours and I had a rather large blob of chocolate sauce (thank you Ravenisis ) that hit me in the top of the head (which is currently bald) that was racing down every direction it could to reach my feet. I didn't mind it too much until it hit the crack of my backside, got a little sticky to walk after that.
Anyway, on with the write up.
Whole Wheat Bread - First open band. Was rather interesting to see three black guys playing punk style. Good rythms and decent lyrics.
I didn't really hang around. They didn't really catch my attention.
Pearl - Hula Hoop dreams
This one was astounding to watch and truly gave me an appreciation on how a round plastic hoop can be used. Pearl is extremely cute adorable and very talented with her hoop.
Ravenisis and Reagan - 007 style
I think the Bond theme is well suited to a Burlesque show and the two ladies really knew how to work the song to the crowds pleasure.
Pearl and Nixon - Mrs. Robinson
By far my favorite bit out of all of them (I love the Graduate and the song so a little biased here...not to mention it's Pearl )
Nixon - Dark Dance
The ever lovely Nixon had a solo dance in which she employeed a silvery, hooded robe. It was an extremely cool bit.
Pearl , Nixon , and (if I remember correctly...little bit tipsy for the show) Stormy - Lollypop goodness
This was done to the Lollypop song. Never have I been so jealous of a piece of candy. The ladies looked absolutely corruptable with their suckers.
And of course the chocolate and whip cream topped ending. Something about a woman covered in chocolate that makes me feel a little funny down there.
And I must not forget that Llona did a wonderful job helpful the ladies out (plus she is extremely sexy in her own right).
I know that there are more bits that I am missing, but buzz is dying, i'm actually getting tired for a change (see past entries to understand that part), so I think I am heading to bed. As I remember them (or more likely someone else reminds me) I will add my thoughts in.
