So it appears that I once again have a "secret admirer". I find it a bit funny as the last "secret admirer" activation I got deactivated well before the three month time limit. Wondering if it is again the site trying to lure back former subscribers.
If someone truly did decide to gift me with a subscription, then thank you. I will more than happily wander around the site for the time that I have to see what wonders it has wrought upon the Internet. If not, well I will still wander around until my time limit is up.
Since last being on the site I have continued working a job that pays well, but that I find I cannot stand. I am currently trying to cook up a scheme to extract myself from my current abode in hopes of rediscovering the joy of not owning a home. While the tax break is nice, not being able to pick up and move at a moments notice has severely limited the freedom that I am looking for. I am close to simply cashing out of everything and telling the bank that they can have it back. I know my credit will be shitty for a while afterwards, but I'm not sure if I really care any more.
I am working on getting a number of different jobs, some here in Atlanta, one in North Carolina, one in Belgium, one in Afghanistan. I would love to get the one in Belgium over the others if possible. I loved the time that I spent there and would absolutely love to go back. The Afghanistan job, while it pays well, is a bit of a scary proposition. The North Carolina gig would be traveling there on Monday, working through the week, and returning to Atlanta on Friday. After a while I am sure that the drive there and back would be a drag it would at least afford me the opportunity to have something else while looking for a different job. The rest of them in the Atlanta area are about as boring as my current job, but one would be a decent step up in pay.
On a slightly funnier side of things, I recently posted something to another site stating that I was at AWA (Anime Weekend Atlanta). One of my friends went to look up what AWA stood for and found that it was a code for an airport in Ethiopia. I was rather proud of the fact that she found that it would not have surprised her to find out that I was in Ethiopia.

I don't know what's up with it. I just figure I'll give it a whirl.
