So I went to the company holiday dinner tonight. It wasn't too bad, but they didn't allow us to order on our own they just had a preset menu to choose from which ended up not being too bad, but I was really looking forward to having lobster.
The other good thing about the night is that I may have another job offer from inside the company. It would be for a consulting gig which would mostly consist of me sitting at home conducting scans of customer's computer networks from the comfort of my own den, then flying out to the customer's site to present my findings. I figure if anything it will get me out of the position I am currently in.
A friend also sent me an email requesting a copy of my resume because the company he works for will be looking to fill a position sometime early next month. Hopefully one of the two works out so I can hopefully find something better than I have now.
