So today, I decided it was time for a new tattoo, so I went out and got one...A nice happy Jack-O-Lantern to make me think of Halloween all year around...turned out pretty sweet too, hurt like a bitch, since it is on the wrist...but it was so worth it...
when it's all healed, I definitely post a pic of it...
in other news, I am trying to convert my operating system to vista, yes, I know it's the devil and fucked up and blah, blah, blah, and all that other bullshit, but after working with it for a bit, turns out it really isn't that bad...I kinda prefer it to XP, as blasphemous as that sounds, but it's true...
so, since I'm trying to upgrade, I installed a Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor and it has helped out a lot..it told me that everything on my comp will work with vista, which is a relief, but turns out I need to add a little bit more RAM, since you need at least 1.5gb to get vista to run perfectly...No problem, I have a friend that sells sticks of RAM, and at the low price of $20 per stick, awesome...
but my other problem, is I need drivers to update my graphics card, and I figured, maybe, just maybe that I should just get another graphics card while I'm at it, and that way I can run other stuff perfectly on my comp, like CS3 extended and Comic Life...
So, I've been price shopping and I'm even going to ask my same friend that sells the RAM sticks, what he charges for a really good graphics card...and then I will upgrade to VISTA, which, he also got me, no cost...I love having comp geeks as friends...
but that's pretty much all that is happening in EdWoodV2Land, and now I have to get ready for my week of graveyard shift, which should be quite enjoyable, since I have to write alot, and my frigging right wrist is gonna hurt everytime I move it, but man, it was so worth it...
later,

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, so nice choice. Pics, you need to post pics.

I'm scurred of Vista, mainly for some of the reasons you listed. A sales guy actually talked me out of getting one of their PCs (incl. his commission) so I had one built, with XP. Hope it works out for you!
