Just returned from dinner and a chat. Being somehwat of a hermit has its' advantages but going out into the world can be pleasant too. I love to discuss life. I don't mean scandalous things, ripping on people and pointing out other people's faults but really analyzing life. When is logic best? Discussing routines, what makes us happy, what calms us, controls us, etc. I like to discuss why we do the things we do, why we feel the things we feel. Tonight we talked about fear, happiness, logic, sharing, motivation, progress and Christopher Walken (It can't all be serious right?).
For me it is therapy. It is necessary. Between playing basketball tonight with an inspired tone and having a good conversation about life shortly after over a Portobello mushroom chicken dinner and a root beer, I feel as good as I have felt in many days. Here's some relevant song lyrics in the song I have on right now:
Shout, shout, Let it all out
These are the things I can do without
Come on, I'm talking to you, come on
Sometimes you need to release things. Whether it's a blog, a song, a painting, an orgasm or a chat with friends sometimes you need to expel negative energy from your being. Tonight I feel like I accomplished this.
I feel "good" tired yet refreshed at the same time. My body is a little fatigued but my mind feels vigorous... all from some silly conversation. What do you like to talk about?

I was actually pretty shocked by that. Shit, I'm from the South and we'd NEVER name an establishment "Whitey's." Weird.
