So we (me and my wife, the beautiful basketofminks) went to see the SG burlesque show last night. It was some awesome stuff. I don't want to ruin it for you, but the girls were awesome. We met Shera at the show and she was very friendly, despite being such a celebrity, as it were.
The comedic highlight for me, though, of the entire night had nothing to do with the dancing. There was this dude standing next to me talking to his friend and apparently he couldn't hear her, so he kept saying "what?". Being the large Dave Chappelle fan that I am, without even really realizing I was saying it, said "WHAT?" like Dave does when he imitates rap and hip-hop guru lil jon on his show. So these two guys respond with a "YEAH" in the same voice. Then from completely across the entire place someone yells "OKAY" in the same voice. Well. I cracked up. It was awesome. Needless to say we beat that into the ground. I apologize to the girls who were dancing if it got annoying. My wife thinks I'm a dork for finding it so funny, but I can't help it. It IS funny.
