It's all a load of bollocks isn't it?!
My mate Ben left work on Thursday, we had a big leaving party for him in a pub near the Museum. Ben is Australian and his visa runs out soon, so he has to return to Australia. We've had some good nights out together in the rock bars and speciality beer pubs of London. It's gonna be different without him around.
Then yesterday I had a big argument with my ex-girlfriend and best friend Kate, which I now regret and think i could've handled better. Seems she's got herself into a big mess again like she did last year. I care about her a lot, but she does my head in. This time round, I'm not going to get too involved with her situation, though I would never abandon a friend. It's just that I think she needs to sort herself out in her own way - then if she asks me for help or support, I will of course be there for her if she really needs me. I can't help her unless she wants help. And I can't tell her what to do, I can only tell her what I think and hope that she ultimately comes to a conclusion that makes her happy.
On a happier note, I got asked out again by Julie - I went out with her twice last summer/autumn, but due to various reasons we never got around to having our third date. She has a job now, and so therefore has money to be able to go out with in her free time. I have of course said yes to her, and we are most likely going to go out next Saturday afternoon. So I'm looking forward to seeing her again.
