when things just happen around you there is never any expectation because trite is trite and reitteration is a bitch and there sometimes isnt anything you can do about it...sometimes you just dint want to do anything about it because you forgot how to care and just go with the flow. such is life. at least i'm half-way mobile now. i have my license but not a car that i wont get pulled over in. (cracked windshield and past date inspection sticker)...i will now share some randomness that i wrote on 6-21-06 on a car trip up to MA...
"stuck in the back quarter of a diesel jetta as we work our way through stop-short and go traffic on the D.C. beltway. its still considered the beginning of the trip thats taking us from east of nowhere Madison, VA to Super Tourist Haven, Cape Cod, MA. id love to kid myself and even mentally say that we are almost somewhere - almost to Baltimore, New Jerseys not too far, that its almost lunch time - but Baltimore is too far from final destination to merit an almost. NJ is still a good few hours away and only the halfway marker. as far as lunch goes...well, im just not hungry yet. i think the best almost i can come up with is that this CD is almost over. a full Dwight Yoakum album was not at all what i was expecting when i requested something other than the playful screeches of Reese and sounds of traffic to break the monotony of obscure noise. yea, almost...almost."
i just thought it was interesting at this late hour of 2:40 am...maybe i'll regret it tomorrow but really i just dont care.
