211 days in Afghanistan,
211 days of moving around various parts of Khandahar province, staying at various camps, and at one point we slept for amonth in a half in the dirt in the middle of the dessert.
I've gotten to experiance lots of things there, the innocenece of children (that throw rocks at you) and the ignorance of the fighting age guys who try to place bombs to kill us, but meet the heavy end of a 500lb bomb.
A peice of me left in Afghanistan, when I found out my best friend died. I had the hard duty to escort his remains back home to his family for his funeral, possibly the hardest thing ive ever done in my life. Rip Buddy

Oh and to answer your minibar question... YES! I have had a dead chicken thrown at me.. more than once actually. I use to work in a chicken factory briefly.
